With Pumpkins being in season I had to try and make a smoothie! Smoothies are filled with fiber as well as nutrients from whatever you choose to include. I feel that Juice and Smoothies are equally beneficial in their own ways and it is also nice to mix it up between the two. I have seen many delicious Pumpkin smoothies online but wanted to try one for myself and give it my own little spin. This one turned out fairly delicious but I made an enormous jar and was so full by the time I was 3/4 of the way into it that I couldn’t finish it. Luckily my daughter was there to share it with me. ( I hate throwing out food!)

  1. 1 cup Almond Milk, nut milk or even water
  2. 2 handfuls of fresh Spinach
  3. 1 cup of Pumpkin cut into cubes and skin removed
  4. 1 Apple or preferably Pear
  5. 1/4 cup Raw Almonds
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  7. 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  8. pinch of Ginger
  9. raw honey for taste (depending on how sweet you want it)
  10. *you can also add in some coconut if desired
  1. 1. In your blender add in the almond milk and spinach and blend until fully combined (this allows your greens to blend in better with the other ingredients)
  2. 2. Add in the rest of your ingredients and blend until smooth (if it gets too thick just pour in some more almond milk)
